Easy Chicken Drumsticks

This recipe is so easy, economical, and a family favorite in our house.  It makes its appearance on our table at least every few weeks.

I used to work at Head Start preschool where we had a cook named Nancy.  She would make drumsticks for lunch sometimes with salt and pepper.  They were always so good. This is my version of Miss Nancy’s chicken.

Easy Chicken Drumsticks

Chicken drumsticks (any amount you want)

Seasoned Salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Lay out chicken drumsticks on shallow baking dish.  I always use my stoneware.  Generously sprinkle seasoned salt on one side of the drumsticks.  Flip drumsticks over to their other side.  Generously sprinkle seasoned salt on the second side of the drumsticks.  Cook for one hour at 350 degrees.  You do not need to turn the chicken during cooking time.

These turn out perfect every time.  They are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.  Drumsticks are also very economical with a regular price of around 99 cents a pound.   Yummy and economical works for me!
